Expression of Interests Are Now Open:
Riverina Men's Health Centre Working Group
Expressions of Interest are now being invited from local men to join a volunteer community working group that will drive the development of a long-term vision for a Riverina Men’s Health Centre (RMHC) in Wagga Wagga for men, by men.
Founder of the Murrumbidgee Men’s Group and men’s health advocate, Rhys Cummins said the need is clear and it’s time to act.

The statistics are scary.
Men make up an average seven out of every nine suicides every single day in Australia.
The number of men who die by suicide in Australia every year is nearly double the national road toll.
The rate of hospitalisation from mental health conditions increases with remoteness, rural and remote areas were 11 and 26 per cent higher respectively when compared with metropolitan areas.
ATSI people (two thirds of whom live in rural, regional or remote areas) are almost three times as likely as non-Indigenous people to report high or very high levels of psychological distress.
